New research confirms that happiness helps heart health. A study by the National Institutes of Health demonstrates that being happy may prevent heart problems, along with eating nutritious foods, exercising, and not smoking.
Even acting happy when you're not can still be helpful. Remember the song, "Let a smile be your umbrella on a rainy, rainy day?" Same concept.
Live fully. Laugh often. Be happy.
